First Spring Training Game

Cool Cael donning his sunglasses from Aunt Kirsti.
Paul and I love spring training baseball, and we have a family tradition (three years now) of going to a game in March at the Milwaukee Brewers' ballpark in Maryvale. It just happened that we have ended up watching that team at that place, so now we are destined to be there each year viewing the sausage race and singing "Roll Out the Barrel" during the seventh inning stretch. This year, we got to share the experience with our future baseball fan, Cael. We sat on a blanket on the lawn. Cael enjoyed crawling around and seeing the other kids around us. Aunt Julie joined us, too, and even watched the little guy (thank you!) while Paul and I took a walk around the place and bought cotton candy, of course. Although we arrived a little late (bottom of the fourth) due to someone's (Paul's) not realizing the central time zone information, we still had a grand time. The Brewers won 2-0, and we had a barrel of fun!

Biter Biscuits

Biter Biscuits are a great treat as Cael learns to self-feed, but they sure don't warn you on the box how messy they are. He had the mushed up delight everywhere - in his eyebrows, on his ears, the back of his head, his clothes, and, of course, all over his face.
