Spring Break: The Phoenix Zoo

Aunt Sarah's zoo.

We had a great time at the zoo
with Aunt Julie and Jalen.

even got in for free!

Spring Break: Sea Life Aquarium

When we first took Cael to this aquarium,
he dropped to the floor to see the sea life
beneath him in the tunnel (first picture).
He did it again this time, getting down
in the middle of everyone in order to get
a better look (second picture).

March 20th: We finished reading our first book together!

As you can see from his huge grin, Cael loved reading The Wizard of Oz. His favorite part was the Tin Man.

March: Themed Cael

Cael likes to have themes to his days. In this case, he was Flash watching Despicable Me, so you can see he has his Flash gear and toys as well as his Minion-shaped snacks. He is such a funny, particular boy. We love it!

Happy Valentine's Day 2014 (a few days late)

Since we were all out of town for the actual day of love, we celebrated it on the following Tuesday. While Cael was at wrestling practice, I decorated for our party. He was surprised and excited when he got home to see the balloons and other table accessories. 

 

We had also had a Family Home Evening where we wrote things we loved and put them on the hearts behind the table.

Every day leading up to the 14th, I wrote on hearts the things I love about Paul and Cael and put them up on the bedroom doors.

Class Valentines

Cael had his first Valentine's Day school party this year. Unfortunately, he missed it because he was in Holbrook while we were in Prescott for the state wrestling tournament. However, we still had the valentines for his class, and, of course, they were superhero valentines.
