Lest peradventure Cael grows up and thinks all he did at this age was conduct music and play with pom poms, I thought I'd better post some pictures of him doing boy things (not that cheerleading and music directing aren't boy things...).

The Green Lantern

Cael got a Green Lantern toy with his Happy Meal, and I told him I just happened to have a GL mask at home he could wear. When we got home, he put on the mask and became the Green Lantern. He wouldn't let me call him Cael; he was the Green Lantern. I was Green Lantern's mom. Green Lantern was hungry. Green Lantern needed to say his prayers. Green Lantern was tired at bedtime.

Apparently, not only did the mask turn him into this superhero, but it also caused the wearer to refer to himself in the third person.
