Where oh where did these ten months go?

Ten things about Cael at ten months:
1. He has five teeth.
2. He is into everything, including cupboards and drawers.
3. He is very mobile; he gets into the reading room now.
4. He knows what he wants (and cries and whines to get it).
5. He rubs his head while drinking his bottle.
6. He takes his pants off to nap.
7. He takes a bath in the real bathtub now, and he is a slippery little fish as Mom bathes him. He moves around and explores, slipping and sliding while I try to get the soap in all the right places.
8. He spends Sacrament Meeting at church with the Davis', who pass him around and spoil him to death.
9. He knows what no means, and he ignores it quite well.
10. He loves eating crackers.

We love you, little buddy of ours, even though you are more work now than before. You make us laugh and smile and wish time stood still.

Four-wheeling Along

As I stated in my last post, you can see no grin on Cael's face in these photos, but he was enjoying himself, take my word for it. :) Dad is certainly all smiles, though.

Yippee. I am so excited.
Hi, everyone. I am on the four-wheeler, and I love it. Can't you tell?
Yawn. Are we finished with this yet?

Lil' Stinker

Every time I try to get a picture lately, Cael will not smile for me, so I snapped one of him not looking, just to prove that he isn't as sullen as his recent photographs may indicate.

See? A smile there.
A semi-smile, but not a full one for the camera
Smiling when I surprised him as he was getting into the drawers in the kitchen.

Take Me Out to the Ball Game

We had a great time at Cael's first Diamondbacks' game, even though they lost to the Reds. Thank you to Uncle Gunnar for the tickets. We had great seats. Aunt Julie went with us and took this picture. :) She spoiled Cael, as usual, taking him for a walk around the ballpark, buying him a Baxter stuffed animal, and getting him cotton candy (although that was really more for his mama). Next up - Yankees game!

Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming. . .

Please refrain from commenting on the pale Hancocks. We know we need sun.

I am not falling for it!

Cael is such a good, sweet baby. I can't believe how blessed we are with him. Of course, he is into everything and has to be watched constantly, but he really is golden. He is so great that I know I am being tricked into thinking that all babies are like this, and that having another one would be the same experience. Well, just so you know, I see right through this plan. One and done!
Don't you want a sibling for me, Mama? Look how cute I am!
