If You Give a Cael a Camera...

"It makes music and sings."

Cael Incognito

Rock on!

Cael's First Pet

Cael brought home a goldfish from the Navajo County Fair. Aunt Sarah assured me that the fish was better than the rabbit he could have won, so I warmed up to the idea of a pet. We purchased a "new home" for OJ (short for Orange Juice, since it was orange), food, decorations for the home, and a net to get him out for cleaning time. Against my better judgement, knowing the short life span of aquatic pets, I became attached to little OJ, as did Cael, of course. We enjoyed OJ for ten whole days, and then, alas, he floated up to the top of heaven, leaving an empty bowl and a sad boy behind. Thank you for being Cael's first pet, OJ. We will fondly remember you.

Sick Cael

Cael wasn't feeling well. He wanted to be with me, so he came into the bathroom area with his pillow and blanket and fell asleep. "Mom, my coughs make me sick," he would say.

"Thank you for my toys."

Every night when Cael prays, he thanks
Heavenly Father for his toys.
He does have some pretty cool
toys, and he realizes how lucky he is.
"I build a robot. Mom, you helped me."
"It's me at Great-grandpa's house playing with new truck and trailer.
Yep. Yep. My motorcycle in the fird seat."
