First Trip to the Dentist

Cael had his first visit to the dentist yesterday. He was such a good boy. He let the hygienist (Kami Avila) and the dentist (Dr. Platt) do a complete exam, including x-rays. He did all they asked and was well-behaved the whole time.

His mom was proud.
Mrs. Avila did a great job showing Cael all the tools and things she would use on him before she began the exam. Cael even got to move the "magic chair" up and down and back and forth.
Cael got to wear one of the blue exam gloves, a blue bib, and glasses to keep any debris out of his eyes.
I love how his legs are sprawled out, as he relaxes in the chair.

The only bad news about the day: He has two cavities that need to be filled, so dentist visit number two will be coming up soon.

Who is giving him all that sugar?

Santa!

"I want four fings: a Cootie dame and a Wii dame
and choclate and a candy cane."

Snow!

Cael enjoyed the snow in Flagstaff
with Grandma and Aunt Kirsti.
He even got Grandma with a snowball,
but I hear she got him back.

The Forgotten Carols

Uncle Lon and Aunt Jennifer bought us all tickets
to The Forgotten Carols as a Christmas gift.
We were able to attend with almost all of our family
(Uncle Stephen and Uncle Tyson and their
families weren't able to be there.)
It was a wonderful production, as usual,
and you enjoyed the singing and the jokes.
(You didn't understand them,
but you laughed along with the audience.)
We are so grateful to Uncle Lon and Aunt Jennifer
for giving us the opportunity to feel the Spirit
and make a family memory.

Little Moments that Touch My Heart

I went into the kitchen and found
this message on the side of the refrigerator.

"The children were nestled all snug in their beds..."

One night when Mom returned home
from a girls' night out, this is what she found.

Elder Davis

Cael's pal, Austin, is on
his mission in Portland, Oregon.
For Thanksgiving, we sent him
this turkey greeting...
...and Elder Davis sent
this letter in return.
We love Austin and are so proud
of him for serving the Lord
for two years.
We thank him for the example
he is to Cael
and for how much he loves him.

"Happy Fanksgiving!"

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving
in Holbrook at Aunt Kirsti's house.
The food was amazing, the company was great,
and Mom's Redskins beat the Cowgirls.
It was a great day.
Cael the photographer made an appearance
to document the day and those in attendance.
You took all these pictures
except the two you are in.
Great job, buddy!

Playing at Home

Cael has quite the imagination,
and he uses it to entertain himself when we are at home.
I constantly discover him playing
in funny and interesting ways.
