The Black Hole

For two years or more, we have been missing
the above items. Mom finally discovered
the black hole in our home that had been
swallowing up these toys and crayons,
not to mention bits of cereal, crackers,
Skittles, and other messy items.
Mom looked for a long time for
a $100 bill to no avail.

The black hole?
The back part of the recliner,
where a pouch is formed by a piece of fabric
being attached to the bottom by Velcro.

It was like Christmas around here.
I conducted music with my wand.
I made phone calls on my Mickey Mouse phone,
including one to Jalen and one to my dad.
I spelled words on the refrigerator with my Q.
I reunited Felipe with the other tools,
telling my mom,
"Mom, the tools missed Felipe!"
I colored with the three crayons we found.
What fun it was to discover the black hole,
full of treasures!

"Mom, I match like Woody."

Notice the boots over the pajamas

Snow Angel

When it snowed, I went outside
and made a snow angel all by myself.
I also picked up an "ice pickle" off the ground
and had a bite of it.

I love the snow!

January Trip to Holbrook

I used the Post-its at Aunt Sarah's work.
I got patches like Uncle Gun's.
Aunt Kristi taught me how to play Uno and even got me my own Uno cards.
When anyone would yell, "Uno," I told them, "You are speaking Spanish!"
I measured myself on Aunt Kirsti's wall.

Happy New Year!

We didn't have a pre-made sign to welcome
in the new year, so Cael insisted we make one.
He wrote it all except the 2013 and the
squiggly decorative things.

Have you met my new best friend, Mr. Tato Head?

Aunt Julie got me Mr. Tato Head for Christmas,
and I like to take him with me everywhere.
He even lets me wear his glasses sometimes.
I make sure I take off his shoes and hat
when we are relaxing on the bed or the couch or
on the floor to watch a movie.

Merry Sickmas!

Christmas came to our house this year, merry, bright, and with the flu.
Yuk.
Cael and I suffered a bad flu virus.
It had us down and out for several days, including the big 2-5.
Cael, the poor little guy, was feeling so icky that he didn't even wish to finish opening his gifts on Christmas morning.
Things were so bad that we only got two actual on-the-day photos.
Santa left his footprints on our carpet as he exited our fireplace after maneuvering down the chimney.
These other pictures were taken a couple of days after Christmas, when we were feeling a little better and gifts were sent from Holbrook.I am glad Cael felt well and excited
that night, as he loved opening these presents. He was spoiled, as usual.

Yes, Santa, I am being a very nice boy.

I am not pouting nor crying.
I am doing the dishes, for goodness' sake.
I am even pretending that I am
Santa Claus coming to town.
