March Madness!

There was too much excitement in the air for you, Cael, on Thursday: the NCAA tournament began (with Mom-mom picking Morehead State in the upset over Louisville - woohoo!), you had two Krispy Kreme doughnuts for breakfast (thanks to our home teacher), and it was St. Patrick's Day. What did your little body do with all that fun? It passed out in the "share" while a "bat-ball" game was on T.V., holding a fork from your last doughnut bite.

One, two, three times for pictures

1. Cael is enjoying slide time while in Holbrook with Aunt Kirsti for the afternoon.
2. Cael is at Gun's house, guarding Pa's tane until he needs it.
3. Cael decided to use the drawers to climb up to the counter to get the crackers out of the cupboard.

Go, go, Jay!

Cael loves his cousin, Jalen. Cael has had the opportunity to watch Jalen play in quite a few basketball games the past two years. This year, he took to cheering quite well for his cousin, even aping the cheerleaders' moves. Jalen's team from Holbrook played for and won the state championship on February 26th. Cael started yelling for him that night, and he has yet to stop. He goes around the house with his "tom-toms" (thanks, Aunt Kirsti) and says, "Go, go, Jay." If there is a basketball game on television, it is "Jay's ball dame."

When we got home from the state-championship weekend trip, he was so wiped out from all the cheering, he just fell asleep on Da-da-ee's lap - holding his pom poms, of course.
