Cael's First Trip to Disneyland: Our Beach Reprieve
We wanted to get away from
the crowds for awhile and
show Cael the ocean for his first
time, so we went to Newport Beach
for a spell.
The water was cold, but we still
waded in it.
We saw a sea lion when we were
on the pier.
The last picture shows the Happy Birthday
that Dad wrote in the sand for Grandpa's
birthday.
Cael's First Trip to Disneyland: Cael's Favorite Ride
"My favorite ride at Dismeland was Star Tours.
My favorite character at Star Tours was Yoda.
I liked R2D2 and C3PO.
I liked our spaceship with R2D2.
We saw Chewbacca on the screen.
C3PO and R2D2 drived the spaceship.
We went to some planets.
I liked it. We went on it 3 times."
Cael's First Trip to Disneyland: Smoochin'
There was a whole lotta kissin' going on
during our trip
(and I'm not talking about Mom & Dad).
Cael kissed Mater...
...and Lightning McQueen.
Minnie kissed Cael...
...and Pinocchio kissed Mom.
Woo-woo!
Cael's First Trip to Disneyland: Seeing the Characters
Cael was most excited to see his characters,
as he calls them.
He just grinned as he met each one
and had him/her autograph his book.
His pure joy was contagious.
Meeting Buzz was one of our favorites.
Not only did he give Cael a high 5 and knuckles,
but he danced with Dad and Cael.
It was awesome!
The first Buzz picture shows them all dancing.
Look! Goofy is even taller than Dad.
