June 3, 2014: Nauvoo and Carthage Jail

Our travels allowed us to visit some Church history sites and to see and learn about the beginnings of our faith.

Nauvoo Temple

The top window is the one from which
Joseph Smith fell after being shot.

Inside Carthage Jail:
This is a bullet hole in the door of the room
where Joseph and the other men were.

We are sitting by the window where
the Prophet was when he was shot.
